Hospital De La Familia, Non Profit Organization

"The Hospital de la Familia Foundation sends teams of 40-45 U.S. surgeons, medical specialists, nurses and medical technicians to the hospital for 2 weeks, 4 times a year."

"Over 1000 volunteer professionals have participated in this program. Volunteer anesthesiologists, clinic nurses, general surgeons, gynecologists, ophthalmologists, plastic surgeons, recovery room nurses, and scrub nurses make up the surgical teams.They contribute their time, pay their own expenses, and help to secure donations of medical supplies which they bring with them."
