Dr. Leonard Gordon is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and microsurgery. He has worked with patients experiencing a wide range of hand problems, from minor fractures to complex diseases and reconstructions. He has worked on numerous conditions, including osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis of the hand, ganglion cysts and tumors, tendon injuries, nerve injuries of the hand, carpal tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren’s disease, and hand and wrist fractures.
Dr. Gordon has an exceptional educational and training background, having completed multiple prestigious fellowships and residencies. He completed a fellowship in hand surgery from the Harvard Medical School’s Massachusetts General Hospital and a fellowship in microsurgery from the University of California, San Francisco. He’s also completed residencies in orthopedic surgery and general surgery from the University of California, San Francisco.
Beyond his surgical work, Dr. Gordon also serves as an Agreed Medical Evaluator for the State of California, wherein he’s entrusted to render opinions regarding Worker’s Compensation or personal injury cases with hand, wrist, or elbow injuries. He has also served as the director of an accredited Hand Surgery Fellowship training program for over 20 years.
